Paid Onsite Training
Paid, on-site training consisting of 240 hours in total at an hourly pay rate of $17.00. You will train at the Novant Health facility of your choice in Charlotte or Winston-Salem NC.
UNC Charlotte Online Training
Boost your resume's credibility by earning a UNC Charlotte Professional Certificate. Stand out to potential employers with the backing of this prestigious qualification, showcasing your enhanced qualifications and skills.
Get Certified
Receive a voucher for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Job Opportunities
Upon completion of the program and passing your certification exam, you will have the opportunity to apply for open roles at Novant Health.
This is a paid program for candidates who:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Complete 2 job-specific Cengage Work assessments with a qualifying scores
- Have access to a computer and the internet
Eligibility Requirements
- Received the COVID-19 vaccination
- Successfully complete the online, on-site training and pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Complete a job-specific Cengage Work assessment.
- Access to a computer and the internet
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated
- Ability to train onsite at North Shore University Hospital: 300 Community Dr, Manhasset, NY 11030
- Work at North Shore University Hospital for 6 months after completing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Complete a job-specific Cengage Work assessment.
- Access to a computer and the internet
